    POSITION: Development Services Coordinator

    Pittsburgh Community Broadcasting Corporation (PCBC) is seeking an experienced Development Services Coordinator for 90.5 WESA and 91.3 WYEP. Reporting to the Director of Development, the development services coordinator provides administrative and donor service support for the development department, including database management, gift processing, clerical support and general customer service to ensure the fundraising success of Pittsburgh Community Broadcasting. In addition to database maintenance and donation processing, the Development Services Coordinator will provide support during fundraising drives, work with volunteer coordination and provide member support.
  • Position Overview:
    The program is somewhat structured, but flexible based on students’ schedules and desired learning opportunities. This intern will contribute the efforts toward daily in a live, one-hour show weekday mornings from 9 to 10 a.m. The internship also includes training sessions and mentorship by Confluence reporters, hosts, and editors.

    Primary duties include story research, field reporting, multimedia projects (including photography and video), and writing and producing stories for broadcast and web. We also offer opportunities to help work on the production of on-air shows, including The Confluence.

    Candidates must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program and available to work at least 10-20 hours per week.
