Accountant
The Opportunity
Join the Pittsburgh Community Broadcasting team and our growing organization as an Accountant! This is an exciting opportunity work with a community organization that distributes trusted content, builds connections and strengthens our communities through public media.
In this position, you are responsible for maintaining accurate and timely financial records in order to retain tax-exempt status and comply with laws and regulations. Day day-to-day tasks include accurate processing of accounts receivable, accounts payable and other accounting transactions, as well as office administrative functions. The position also assists with month-end closing and grant reporting. The Accountant will assist the Vice President, Finance and Administration to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the organization’s financial processing, as well as assist with financial reporting, audit preparation and tax filings.

Minimum Qualifications
5 years relevant accounting experience.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in accounting or business-related field.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Outlook, QuickBooks or similar software.
